The centre of every system consists of a gas sensor with it’s unique characteristics. The following sensors could be used depending on your application:

Electrochemical
Semiconductor
Catalytic combustion
Infrared
Thermal conductivity

Basically, these sensors measure the gas concentration in the air. If the preset gas concentration is exceeded, an alarm signal will be given through one of the Buveco gas detection control units. Alarm signals such as a telephone dialler, ventilation system,
gas valve or any other facility can be driven after an alarm warning.
